My YouTube Video - Fuji Emulsion Lifts & Transfers

I have stared in a YouTube video. I guess it was time for that experience... I recently wrote an article on Fuji emulsion lifts and transfer, which will appear in the Workshop section of Cloth Paper Scissors Magazine's November/December issue. The editor, Jenn Mason, asked me if I would be willing to make a YouTube video of the process, to link to the article. I enlisted a friend, Jason MacQueen, who filmed it for me. The subject matter is pretty specific, but if you feel like watching it, please let me know what you think...

Nicely done with good instructions and filming. Perhaps a tripod to decrease the shadow movement of camera man and not sure in the emulsion lift if you're putting the photo on the metal sheet to keep it, use it in another application...?
The aperture type applications designating time lapse is a nice and useful touch.
Well done and congratulations!

Thanks for watching the video, Sandra! Yes, the shadows are quite distracting. I wish they could be removed without re shooting the whole thing. The emulsion lift was put on metal to later be worked on more, in a collage. Although, I have also attached these to metal and just framed them that way.

Great video Tiffany. Now I'm inspired to start doing lifts and transfers again. I havn't tried using fuji film yet...I don't remember having to peel apart the polaroid film in the dark, does this apply to just fuji film transfers?

Hi Arlene! I am sorry it took me so long to respond. You don't have to peel the film apart in the dark when you are using Polaroid film. The Fuji process is different. Please let me know if you need any help :)
